Ever seen clerks? and heard the line "this job would be great if it wasnt for the fucking customers" ? TRUE! Ive worked in customer service for 5 years and have come across the stupidist people in existance. i want to share their stupidity with you. Feel free to tell your experiences. |

A lil pre-info for my lil story: we have a coffee card “get the fifth free” and we have three sizes, small gets one stamp, medium gets two stamps, large gets three stamps (so we know what size coffee they’re entitled to). And we put these stamps on 5 different lines, which are numbers, and the 5th line has a big “free” across it. Ok, story time…
a lady had two stamps on one line, then one stamp on the following two lines, 3 coffee’s. Yet she was telling me that she gets this 4th coffee free cause there’s 4 stamps on her card… apparently indicating 4 coffee’s. So I spent 5 minutes trying to explain our coffee stamping system, before she tells me to read the front of the card, that im an idiot and that I have no idea what im doing….. hahah ok lady
I was just asked for a “hot” latte…..like I was gonna make you a cold one o.0 ?!?!
Let me just put it out there… I have bright blue hair and a few tattoos, I get it, im target for stupid comments. But what I don’t understand is when customers feel that it’s ok to out right insult me and expect me to be nice to them.
“oh wow, is that a wig?”
” did you know your hair’s blue?”
“what the hell you do that for?!”
“your a lil on the odd side eh?”
“did you forget to wash your hands?” (I have tattoos on my fingers)
“you still gonna do that when your 40?”
you act a dick I’ll treat you like a dick….
It really helps me while serving you if you pay attention to me rather then chat to your friends. Cause if you don’t hear me I won’t repeat myself, I’ll just stand and wait and you’ll end up being late for work *snigger*
Who goes into a cafe/bake house and askes for fruit?!
People who wear sunglasses inside make me angry, I wanna smash their shades and shove the shards in their eye sockets.

Just a personal peeve, as a newly non smoker. It’s really disguting and dificult for me if you smoke right outside the door and blow smoke as your walking over the “welcome” mat. You do realise that your blowing smoke INTO the estqblishment? And as a food service that sparks all sorts of OH&S issues.
Please please please! Learn your different types of bread, im sick of people pointing to an obviously multi grain dinner roll and asking for “that wholemeal baget” google it…
